Shop and field welding

We fabricate in our shop when we can for quality and speed, and weld in the field when the job requires it, including pipe welding in tight mechanical rooms.

Certified for code work

ASME Section IX covers pressure piping and boiler work; AWS D1.1 covers structural steel. Our welders are tested and certified for both.

S&S Mechanical specializes in custom welding and fabrication of specialty piping systems. We provide weld-specific processes for unique alloys and provide expertise on process piping systems involving stainless steel or other alloys.

S&S Mechanical's team has multiple machines in our arsenal for various processes of welding and can be certified on almost anything that a client would need for us to complete a project. Our S&S Mechanical fab shop is large enough to fabricate most if not all of our projects in-house and in a controlled environment to save time and money for our customers. Our S&S Mechanical fab shop can work directly with your CAD team or any other CAD team. We will even fabricate for competitors and work directly with their CAD or design team.

Welding Processes that S&S Mechanical provides on projects:

  • GMAW – Gas Metal Arc Welding / MIG – Metal Inert Gas
  • GTAW / TIG – Gas Tungsten Arc Welding

All of our SS Mechanical welders are highly trained and educated in all welding processes. SS Mechanical strives to educate the next generation of welders and fabricators with our constant in-shop training and through our Nevada union partners' apprenticeship program. Our welders are UA certified with ASME IX and AWS D1.1 certifications. We have the ability to develop welding procedures to fit your needs or custom welding project.
