Is S&S Mechanical a licensed plumber in Nevada?
Yes. S&S Mechanical, LLC holds Nevada State Contractors Board license NVL-82593 and has served Northern Nevada since 2017. Our plumbers are union-trained through UA apprenticeship programs.
Do you offer emergency plumbing service in Reno and Sparks?
Yes. We answer emergency plumbing calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for burst pipes, major leaks, sewer backups and no-hot-water situations. Call (775) 406-1687.
What areas do you serve for plumbing?
We serve Sparks, Reno, Carson City, Sun Valley and the surrounding Northern Nevada communities. Call to confirm availability for outlying areas.
Do you work on both homes and businesses?
Yes. We handle residential service and remodels as well as commercial and industrial plumbing, including tenant improvements, process piping and design-build projects.
Water Heaters questions
How long does a water heater last in Reno or Sparks?
A tank water heater typically lasts 8 to 12 years in the Truckee Meadows. Hard water shortens that if the tank is never flushed. Tankless units last 15 to 20+ years with annual descaling.
Do you offer same-day water heater replacement?
In most cases, yes. We stock common 40- and 50-gallon gas and electric models. Call (775) 406-1687 early in the day for the best chance of same-day service.
What is your water heater price-beat guarantee?
We will beat any written quote from a local competitor for the same installation including permit. Quotes from Home Depot and Lowe’s are excluded.
Are you a certified Rinnai installer?
Yes. S&S Mechanical is a Rinnai professional partner for tankless water heater installation and service.
Boilers, Radiant & Snow Melt questions
Do you service residential boilers?
Yes. We service residential hot-water boilers and combi boilers as well as commercial and industrial boiler plants.
Are your welders certified for boiler work?
Yes. Our welders hold ASME Section IX and AWS D1.1 certifications.
Do you install snow melt systems in Lake Tahoe?
Yes. We install hydronic snow melt for homes and businesses across Northern Nevada and the Lake Tahoe area.
Commercial & Industrial questions
Are you a union contractor?
Yes. Our plumbers, pipefitters and welders are trained through United Association (UA) apprenticeship programs.
Do you provide BIM coordination?
Yes. Our in-house team uses Revit and Navisworks for 3D modeling, clash detection and prefabrication drawings.
